Hey everyone! I’m reaching out to the community because my GitHub account recently got suspended, and I’m honestly a bit confused about what exactly caused it and how to properly resolve it. A while ago, my GitHub account was suspended. I didn’t receive a very detailed explanation, just a general notice about violating policies ( while i was logging in to it again). Since then, I’ve been trying to understand: What action might have triggered the suspension Whether it was due to a specific repository, file type, or activity What I should (or shouldn’t) do moving forward My Concern I’m planning to create new repositories that may include: ZIP files (for distribution) Setup/installation guides in the README Possibly prebuilt assets (like UMD builds) But now I’m unsure: ❓ Is uploading ZIP-only repositories allowed? ❓ Could that be a reason for suspension? ❓ Are there best practices I should follow to avoid issues again?
